I have wagered on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you're not you're NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager

Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can't deviate and lower your bet or the end result won't be the same.
