I have gambled on millions of hands of 21. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you're NOT!

I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don't win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result won't be the same.
